hattigrace: Color Dilema
http://hattigrace.blogspot.com/2009/10/color-dilema.html
October 5, 2009. Dot told me my color was faded out and I needed some depth. First photo on left. However, the next day, as I was out running errands, I saw everyone look at my color and quickly look away. Yeah, it was hideous. Grabby ends with odd tones, way too dark at temples. All that does not show in thephoto taken in the gentle lighting of candles. We had an event that night, so I tied up those grabby ends and had a martini (or five) and forgot about it. So, in this pic, I am still swollen and pale.

July 2, 2008. We are heading out tomorrow with Dot, dog and a sad heart because Dot's husband cannot come with us to Orlando to stay with Jade n visit with Daybreak. I am full of expectancy that God has a plan for this trip, bigger than we can know. I am so grateful for how He has healed our family. Big news. . . my friend and I have had two really great talks and I feel we are well on our way into a new road in our journey. So glad, cause I always loved her. Have a Happy Fourth, y'all!

We are . . . In Enterprise, AL. Family Field Trip: Black Hills, SD. You're getting all of these Family Field Trips because we are heading West at a lesuirely pace. Brian has an opportunity to do a few months of contract work in California and that doesn't start until end of June. After that, we'll be headed to Tennessee for a helicopter touring position. In the Smokey Mountains. In the meantime the Norths are heading West (yes, we are aware that that was very corny). And some kind of weird breed of Deer.

We are . . . In Enterprise, AL. When we say "sticking to it" we aren't referring to the way we want the picture to adhere to the wall as we dodge potholes along I-90. We mean more like a habit. Neither one of us are good at habits, especially good habits. We don't really stick to anything. Maybe that's why we are most comfortable with an ever changing. I wonder how many people who have hit the road also lack the fortitude for consistency. Let us share with you some examples of how we've failed at a habit.

hattigrace: My Assistant
http://hattigrace.blogspot.com/2008/09/my-assistant.html
September 6, 2008. I can't take it anymore! I found this this photo of my assistant and decided I had to write a post about her. I haven't a clue why she was hiding her beautiful face from my curious camera, so I just made up that silly caption. Many years ago, Dot told me my health insurance was having an assistant. When I thought in terms of preserving my health, the weekly paycheck to my assistant became a reasonable business expense. School she would want to assist me. Hmmm. She rarely sat down, talk...

We are . . . In Enterprise, AL. Spring Makes the Wheels Turn. Spring has sprung and the RVs are in motion. The snow is melting, the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, the pollen is in the air.and so is the smell of diesel fuel. We can't help but feel just a tad bit jealous as we see our fellow RVers bouncing down the freeway. We find ourselves looking at them with envy and wondering about their story. Safe travels to all. We are . . . In Enterprise, AL. It's hot and sticky there. So humid. Windy and cold up there. A bitter cold. It's so hot. Dry. It's a dry heat. Rains all the time over there. Couldn't ask for better weather. Weather. Everybody has it. It's a constant across the country. You can access information about weather just about anywhere you look. The newspaper, the tv. The computer, even the checkout lady at Walmart. But as they say.If you don't like it, stick around and it will change. Pics From the Road.

We are . . . In Enterprise, AL. Family Field Trip: Badlands, SD. There are Badlands all over the US. They have been the setting of many movies and home to prairie dogs, coyote and rattlesnakes (and moths, grasshoppers and stickbugs). Each set of Badlands has it's own unique characteristics. The ones in SD are rugged, colorful and desolate. Civilization, milk, bread and human contact (and we're out of beer). If you've ever been to the Black Hills you might not call that place of no cell coverage. In the B...
