http://lifestooshorttoironteatowels.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
Life's Too Short To Iron Tea Towels. Tales of a housewife. I Can't Wait To Sew! With all this gorgeousness. A whole summer wardrobe on one pattern. Beautiful summery cotton prints. Quilting inspiration and my lovely new address book. I've been a bit worried about Smudge so Andy has taken him to the vets this morning. Apparently he has kennel cough.he has never been in a kennel in all his life so how on earth did he get that? Medicine has been prescribed so hopefully that will do the trick. We've had prob...

Frugal in retirement
http://poohsabode.blogspot.com/2015/01/another-no-spend-day-since-christmas-my.html
My life in Ipswich - incorporating One Step at a Time, my account of how I am slowly changing my life. Monday, 5 January 2015. Another no spend day. The decluttering is continuing and I'm quite pleased with how it's going. I have got better at getting rid of items but it's an ongoing project that will take possibly another couple of years. What I must be careful of is replacing the clutter I'm getting rid of. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hello - welcome to my blog. View my complete profile. A Spoo...

http://frugalknit-wit.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
My Frugal, Crafty Life. Monday, 29 June 2015. It was DS1's birthday today. I was up at 6.30 making his cake before doing 3 loads of laundry and hanging it out on the line. It's been a lovely hot, sunny day so it was all bone dry when I bought it in about 5pm. I buy my choc buttons from Aldi at 33p for a 70g packet. It's delicious chocolate and a fraction of the price of Cadbury's. Dinner tonight at the birthday boy's request was burgers, chips and salad.and very nice too.And then we cut into the ...The j...

In The Land of The Living Skies II: Sunday Ramblings
http://inthelandofthelivingskiesii.blogspot.com/2015/08/sunday-ramblings.html
In The Land of The Living Skies II. Sunday, August 9, 2015. A busy Saturday and Sunday on the old homestead. I have been busy getting the harvest in and going to yard sales (especially those garage sales put on by friends). The rest of my days have been spent getting the garden in. I have dried sage, rosemary, and thyme. Gotten them into bags ready for winter. I am hoping to get more dried as I continue to follow the hunter/gatherer tradition. I made some Mint Jelly. Everybody have a wonderful evening.

Cait O'Connor: Sentenced to Life
http://caitoconnor.blogspot.com/2014/05/sentenced-to-life.html
Monday, 26 May 2014. Once, I would not have noticed; nor have known the name for Japanese anemones, so pale, so frail. But now I catch the tone of leaves. No birds can touch down in the trees without my seeing them. I count the bees. This morning I heard James Naughtie read the poem Sentenced to Life. On the Radio 4 Today programme and it moved me to tears, it was read so well and the words. well the words speak for themselves. The poet is the great Clive James. And when I walk the mile to town, I show.

Cait O'Connor: Julia Margaret Cameron

Friday, 13 June 2014. She was such an evocative photographer - and quite a character if you read about her. There was a long article about her recently in the New Yorker. I will send you the link in an email. 13 June 2014 at 04:13. Loved the photo so much I had to go and read about the photographer, fascinating lady. Saw many more of her photos, made me want to take out a camera and take some photos of faces. 13 June 2014 at 06:47. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). CAIT'S PHOTOS, MY OTHER BLOG NEXT-DOOR.
