A small journey towards a more frugal and clutter free existence- while dragging my husband and children along with me. Thursday, June 18, 2015. Frugal vs. Not Frugal. Frugal- I've made dinner from our pantry every night this week. Not Frugal- The kids are and I are all doing VBS everyday this week and the by the time we're done, we're all tired and hungry. We've had a lot of drive thru and today I splurged on Denny's for lunch. Frugal- We've spent almost no money on outside activities this week. I disco...

Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Today is World Bread Day! Posted by jenni at 9:52 AM. Testing the new to me platform. I've said it over and over again, but I'm back . not necessarily with a vengence, but I'm here. Hopefully I'll be here more often. Blogger has changed a lot since I first started blogging. I felt so clever then, being able to figure it all out and actually blogging. Time will tell if I am able to figure it out again. Posted by jenni at 9:48 AM. Friday, September 13, 2013. 2-3 med- large carr...
Frugal Vegan Mom
February 1, 2018 by frugalveganmom. Wow, a whole year since I’ve written here. I’m sure a lot has happened, but in many ways life is the same. Still sort of staying home with the kids (although Jane is in 1st grade and Aiden goes to daycare part time) while doing some nanny work on the side and trying to figure out what I *really* want to do with my life. Just realized I mentioned “stress” in each of the last 3 paragraphs. That’s certainly appropriate at this point in my life. B...Speaking of the kids!

frugal vegetarian cooking
Monday, April 2, 2012. I'm really happy to share my newest blog - Kitchen Sink Wisdom. It's a blog about home, and food, and living. I like to think of it as an online version of the simplest lifestyle magazine you can imagine - only without the annoying banner ads. Or recipes for cupcakes, next to stern articles about fitness and diet. And with more soul. For the times when you need it. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Where do you go from here? Thank you for finding this blog. I'm so glad you came. I make...

A vegetarian talks frugality and cooking. Wednesday, October 11, 2017. For Thanksgiving, my fiancée and. Made a delicious pumpkin pie. I'm not going to go through how it was made, because it's baking and we just went through this recipe. It turned out beautiful though (and now we have a lifetime supply of cloves):. Lentils with Pumpkin Coulis. 1 1/3 cups pumpkin. 2/3 cups tomato sauce. 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce. 1 teaspoon dried basil. Wednesday, January 4, 2017. However, things aren't that bad (and no...

Frugal Veggie Mama
My two cents on being a frugal, vegetarian, mother, yoga instructor, knitter and eco friendly human. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. After a long run, prolific for a long time and mostly silent for even longer, I am stepping away from this blog and moving on to new adventures. I've tried to make my new endeavors fit within the confines of this blog but it feels wrong to me. The archives will remain since they continue to receive fair amount of traffic even after all this time. Links to this post. I think I'm...

Frugal Vet Tech (Student) | The life of a married vet tech student, climbing out of debt
Frugal Vet Tech (Student). The life of a married vet tech student, climbing out of debt. It’s been a while, eh? Yikes Really a long while. Sorry ’bout that. I graduated from tech school and never found a full-time tech job, so I really didn’t have much to write about. At least nothing vet-tech related. Working two shifts a month as a tech doesn’t give a person much to blog about. July 28, 2010 – 8:16 PM. The Results Are In…. I PASSED (my national certification exam)! What else is there to say? One more d...
