Fruit For Thought: Coming to a Close

http://fruit-for-thought-regina.blogspot.com/2012/08/coming-to-close.html

Monday, 27 August 2012. Coming to a Close. We've been harvesting like crazy all summer! Registration is now closed but we will continue to harvest into the fall months. We had the opportunity to harvest our first cherry tree this year, which was a great and delicious experience! We've also been busy in the kitchen, making delicious preserves such as Cherry Jam, Apple Chutney, Apple Sauce and of course Apple Crisp. Stay tuned for our final tree count and more pictures from the season. Coming to a Close.

Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Grow 'N' Share picked its first apple tree this week - an excellent early eating variety that was both juicy and sweet! A big thank you goes out to our hosts, Diane and Jim, for not only sharing their apples with us, but for keeping us company and helping out while we picked. Thanks also goes to the fun group of volunteers for helping make the picking time go by so quickly! Looks yummy, doesn't it. Interested in volunteering to pick some fruit? Wednesday, November 17, 2010. The Power of One. One person managed to change the tide or the compliance pattern. That is the power of one! At first, most guests listened to my presentation carefully. A few minutes into my presentation, it started pouring outside. The guests jumped on the opportunity to divert into their own conversations. Obviously, the subject was making them uneasy. I asked the daughter to explain to me what people were saying among themselves. 8220;Each time a man stands up for an ide...
