Barangkali, berandai-andai dengan masa depan, adalah candu yang paling gila. Merasuki dengan mudah, lalu bermetastasis. Mendekam di alam bawah sadar dan mengubah pandanganmu pada hal-hal yang nyata. Seperti dua kursi kosong, yang seharusnya kosong. Namun ternyata penuh sesak dengan rangkaian cerita. Yang rangkaiannya terbuat dari sampah-sampah kenangan.

It teaches me smile when a hope is swept away. It teaches me that I can be so late to say thank you or I love you. It reminds me that the prayer is the closest thing to hold the beloved ones. It reminds me that I should be prepared saying a hello for a goodbye. It reminds me of You- God, the great Director.

Saya mulai menulis lagi, lalu saya hapus lagi. Entah adegan ini berulang sampai berapa kali, saya sudah tidak mengingatnya. Bukan kehilangan inspirasi, saya hanya bingung harus menuliskannya seperti apa. Saya tidak mau jika tulisan ini berbicara kesedihan. Karena Tuhan amat baik. Amat sangat baik malah. Kau hebat, paman!
