Monday, 26 October 2009. Last weekend we ventured to Bahrain with friends for a 'Sunday" brunch, a typical expat distraction from everyday restrictions. Actually it was a Friday. We picked Janey up and went to the Golden Tulip Hotel. Real bubbles and beer! It had entertainment for the kids in the form of a candy floss machine, face painting, a balloon making pirate and the chocolate fountain.
