Thursday, September 27, 2007. Only three months to go! This is at Henrik's cousin's wedding. The walk from the church to the reception hall. We definately don't live in Chicago anymore. However, I do love the cows. I have also started to love horses, not riding them, but just being in their presence. They are amazing animals. We have our second child on the way! Due date: December 28th. My parents are coming for about a month to enjoy lifes most precious moments with us. Ella is doing great!

A journal of our journey to create. Thursday, August 23, 2007. I received an article from Salon.com today about being a breastfeeding mom and working. I think for a lot of women this sounds like an oxymoron. I feel like this article has some wonderful points. It's funny how the law protects women to be able to breastfeed in public (in most states) but when it really comes down to it, breastfeeding and working can seem near impossible. Anyway, here's some food for thought. I'm getting off my soapbox now.

I've had some good cries since my aunt has passed away but most of my struggle with the reality of it is displaced into crabiness or tiredness. My mind and heart can only handle so much of it so a lot of the time I just kind of feel numb about the whole thing. I would imagine that the wake and the funeral will give me some time to really start to understand and find closure. Posted by The Process.
