The above illustration shows the number of Royal Navy Sea Harriers and Royal Air Force Harriers with the British task force during the war. Much of the discussion of the conflict centres on the use of the Sea Harrier fighters and Harrier ground attack aircraft as well as the Vulcan bombers.
