Over the past 20 years, programs started by parents in the 1970's and 1980's to provide in-home respite care and family support have become established among the valued long-term care resources available today. But, our job is not finished. Many more families need assistance and, today, over 100 families are waiting for our services. Some will wait two to three years to get help.
