PLEVA: Is it PR?

This is a record of my physical, mental and emotional experiences dealing with the rare skin disease known as pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (PLEVA). It is currently on-going. November 24, 2014. The topical steroid cream I was prescribed is helping. My PLEVA is not sore like before. There is no burn except in the odd random spot. I am starting to think this might be PR. A severe version of it, but PR nonetheless. Other than getting fatigued very fast from performing.

November 25, 2014. Only a few new bumps on my feet today. The PLEVA has reached my toes. So it has. Travelled the full length of my body and to all the extremities. T helps with the redness and pain a lot so it's very much worth putting on. A couple of bumps appeared in between my toes. Pleasant.

May 19, 2015. Is it happening again? This morning that changed. The bumps, only a few, have started to hurt. They have gone from bumps to sores. The intial bumps that I scratched off are still healing. It is taking them longer than normal to close up and fade away. Am I getting PLEVA again? I called my dermatologist ...

This is a record of my physical, mental and emotional experiences dealing with the rare skin disease known as pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (PLEVA). It is currently on-going. November 19, 2014. My doctor was able to get me an appointment with a dermatologist the following day. I was grateful because the bumps were showing no mercy like soldiers trying to push through enemy lines. My neck, groin and calves, the back of my hands, and tops of my feet were no longer spot free.

October 26, 2014. At my second doctor's visit I was uncomfortable. I itched constantly. It hurt to walk. My skin felt sunburned. I asked my doctor if he had seen many cases of PR. He said he had, but that he "Had never seen a case as severe as yours." Great. October 25, 2014. At first, there were only a few spots.
