Lake Travis Independent School District. March 12, 2014. We are in discussions with Austin, Texas’s 7,000 member Lake Travis Independent School District. Our technology partner Impact Bioenergy. Will supply a prefabricated system to process 1,000 tons of the District’s cafeteria and lawn waste per year. This system will have the following impacts each year:. Displace the carbon impact of 80 cars. Take the equivalent of 80 homes off the natural gas grid. Please write ben@ripe.energy with any inquiries.
