Regions: Dude, I'm so Frikkin' Broke
http://regionsofamerika.blogspot.com/2005/09/dude-im-so-frikkin-broke.html
Where East meets West and sets up camp in the middle. Monday, September 19, 2005. Dude, I'm so Frikkin' Broke. I want to know if Skull and Bones is real. And I'm interested to know what is talked about at Masonic temples. Who is their main man? Do you have to have some sort of Mayflower connection to be a part of this stuff? What if my grandmother's great grandfather was a peasant stowaway on a ship from France to Canada? Is that going to work against me? I'm talking about the George W.Bush's. I wouldn't...

Cloudy, chance of sunbreaks: November 2002
http://cloudsandsun.blogspot.com/2002_11_01_archive.html
Cloudy, chance of sunbreaks. Notes from the Trail - Random thoughts - Anecdotes. Friday, November 29, 2002. Funny and touching "requirements for a husband." I think that I used to have a list like this. Now all I'm really looking for (not that I'm even looking) is shared values and honesty, but I put my spin on a few of Mia's items, just for kicks:. 6 Know what I eat and do not eat. She refers specifically to not forcing her to eat things that she doesn’t like. Likes to eat, and tries new things. I don’t...

My Biodiesel Adventure: May 2006
http://doluna.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my experience with biodiesel. First Drops of Bio. Anyway, time flies and I've gone through five tanks of dinodiesel. Time to make the change! Everyone seems to have a different opinion of how to best "ease" the engine into bio use, so I'm just going to follow this plan: a couple tanks of B50, maybe a tank or two of B80, then up to B100. I think I'll pick up a spare fuel filter, too. Just in case. Posted by Daniel at 18:00. Still, I wasn’t stirred to action just yet. I consider myself to be...

My Biodiesel Adventure: July 2006
http://doluna.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my experience with biodiesel. So Far So Good. I've been through three tanks of B50 now, and no problems to speak of. Other than backing into my garage before the door opened all the way and ripping off the antenna. But that's not a fuel-related issue (more of a dumbass-related issue). Here's the spare fuel filter. Here's the engine - fuel filter is on the left. And here's a close-up of the functioning fuel filter. Posted by Daniel at 22:48. Seattle, Washington, United States. So Far So Good.

A chronicle of my experience with biodiesel. So in the absence of any biodiesel horror stories to report, here are a few interesting and encouraging links. The US Air Force (of all people) is apparently pushing hard to start using synthetic and biofuels. In its fleet. There's also some good work being done in the private aviation sector to develop biofuels for aircraft use. Boeing and Air New Zealand have partnered on a project to test a plane running on biofuels. My Biodiesel Adventure: August 2006
http://doluna.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my experience with biodiesel. Well, it turns out that Dr. Dan's sells B99 now. Has been for a few months, it seems. Their website still says B100, but when I went to fill up today, I noticed that the pump said B99. They were closed, so no one around to ask, but a quick look through the tdiclub.com forums confirmed the switch. I updated my filling records, since my last fill-up was actually B99, also. I guess I'm not too worried about 1% petrodiesel, but it would be nice to have B100. So fa...
