Monday, 13 May 2013. I have just been reprimanded by my uncle who said it was all very nice receiving the passage emails but that it would have been nice to know that we have actually arrived! Anyway here we are! We had a passable dinner in one of the many Irish pubs here and I have to admit that I did cave in and have one whole single pint of cider to celebrate our safe arrival. My first drink since January 20th and in all honesty not really worth it. Oh well, not feeling too guilty about it. Other than...

Friday, 3 May 2013. The weather Gods seem displeased. Sadly we don’t have too many chickens running around to sacrifice in order to resolve the situation. I am not sure if my mass consumption of junk food can really be counted as a sacrifice to the Gods. Maybe they will think that I am fattening myself up for slaughter…. Cheers, Will and Jubee. PS I saw a whale splash and whale tail yesterday. Jubee did much better and informed me she watched a whale for about an hour yesterday. Thursday 9th May - Part 3.

Sunday, 5 May 2013. At midnight we had traveled 174 miles for the 24 hour period and according to the engine hour clock we only motored for 12 hours of that to be in position 22 49.77N by 73 34.18W. Some of the 12 hours of sailing was lovely and in the right direction but by the end when the engine went on we were really heading in the wrong direction with the NW winds that we now have. Having had their annual break in UK, Will and Jubee returned to Grenada in early October and had a hectic few days getting Fuerte re-launched and ready for Bill and some friends to join and head back to the BVIs. Samstag, 5. Mai 2012. Dreimal besuchten wir Corralejo/Fuerteventura –1983/1984 und 1985. Die Insel liess uns einfach nicht mehr los. Eine solch gewaltige Dünenlandschaft, ein solch türkisblaues Meer findet man in Europa kaum mehr. So entschlossen wir uns während des Aufenthaltes 1985, hier ein kleines Haus zu bauen.
