ARW Blogging Assignment 5 (OMS). The main characters in Old Man and the Sea are Santiago, a fisherman and Manolin. A boy who helps him. Three adjectives that describe Santiago are passionate, inpatient, and humble. First, he has passion of getting big fish though he is old, so he is passionate. ASP class in April 27. We discuss about "50% of japanese is women, but only 10 % women work at the government. Why is that? Historically, women are regarded as people who have lower power and right than men, and it was taken for granted that "women should do housework." It is a kind of stereotype. But recently, the status of women comes to be recognized and is advanced. In the future, the population of women in government would increase. We should refer to this and try to be able to do such a discussion.
