Yes, and So Is My Heart: My Big Girl
http://fullheartandhands.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-big-girl.html
Yes, and So Is My Heart. Because with three small children, it's more than my hands that are full. Here is my sweet girl roller skating for the first time. A couple of hours after this, I dropped her off at her first slumber party. Not surprisingly, she had a wonderful time. As I dropped her off, I gave her a quick hug and a kiss. She sighed and said, "Thanks mom. I can't get to sleep without a hug and a kiss." She was serious and my heart melted. I love you, my not-so-big girl! My Actual Blogging Job!

Yes, and So Is My Heart. Because with three small children, it's more than my hands that are full. A Little Bit of Random. For some reason, I'm having the hardest time believing that my little man will soon be finishing kindergarten. Perhaps it's the fact that Ann is only one year ahead of him in school. It hasn't been that long since she finished Kindergarten and here we are watching another one of our children say hello to first grade. It all makes me want to tell time to slow down already!

Yes, and So Is My Heart. Because with three small children, it's more than my hands that are full. Because I Can't Make this Stuff Up! I noticed the bathroom door was locked and I was fairly certain I saw my son walk in the room several minutes earlier. I knocked and asked if he was okay. He said he was and emerged a few minutes later with a smile on his face and a jar of pistachios in his hand. It took a long time because I was eating these," he said as he held up the jar. Yes," he answered. Yes, that's...

Yes, and So Is My Heart. Because with three small children, it's more than my hands that are full. One of the best things about getting older is gaining perspective. As each year passes, it becomes harder and harder to worry about some of those little things that used to make me crazy. That's a good thing, because I have to use way too many brain cells to answer questions like, "Mom, how many ants would it take to carry a chair? Lizz @ Yes, and So is My Heart. Yes, and So Is My Heart. Because with three small children, it's more than my hands that are full. Sometimes We Need Them More. At the prompting of a dear friend, I'm going to write about a lesson I've recently learned. It seems I've had my thinking a bit backwards. Not long ago, a friend sent me an email that I'll never forget. In it, she reminded me that I'm exactly the mama God had in mind for my three children. As I read her words, I was humbled. She challenged me to view as an honor what...Was the r...

Musings about this life. This life I have right now, where I'm wife to man who loves me beyond measure and mom to three amazing, beautiful, (usually) happy children, blesses me deeply. And if it took that. To get here, then I'd gladly suffer again. Further more, my suffering is NOTHING in the light of the cross. My Savior took on my burden of sin so that when He comes again, He can take me home. Surely that moment will be full of joy, and because of that, I can live in joy now. My God, how GREAT you are!

August 19, 2014. First Day of School. This the face Kaylee made when I asked her about the first day of school. This is how she really feels! As we were leaving the school, I introduced Cole to the principal. She asked how his day was and he told her that "it was the best day of my life." Yes.he likes Kindergarten. Chad's teacher moved up a grade so he has the same teacher as last year. We have prayed for Mrs. E since Cole was two. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). First Day of School.

November 23, 2014. I am four now! And I love being four because I am getting bigger. It makes me happy to be four! I like to play with toys. My favorites are puzzles (I can put together 100 piece puzzles by myself) and Legos. I also like to read books. I like all books! Whenever I go into another room in the house, I always say, "I 'wace' you. I win! Sometimes I race my tummy. I love ties (when we both win). I like to repeat things that Cole says but it tends to get me in quite of bit of trouble. Oops.

May 11, 2015. I've had a great spring. I really enjoyed Run/Walk Club at school. I was the 2nd top distance runner for all grades and one of six who completed over a marathon during the spring time. After school, I also participate in a choir. Now that the grass is growing, I am mowing again. I take this job very seriously. 59 1/2 inches tall. I got my first job making bread for our neighbors once a week. I enjoy talking to Shirley each time that I drop it off. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saying yes to new experiences and opportunites! Monday munchies – Tuna patties. March 4, 2013. My grandmother used to make wonderful tuna patties, complete with left over mashed potato. We, however, never seem to have any leftover, but I love me some tuna patties. Fortunately, this recipe from Korean cooking site Maangchi. Doesn’t use mashed potatoes. As an added bonus, it’s quick to prepare, doesn’t require shaping or refrigeration time. Score! 1 small can tuna, drained (about 140g drained weight).
