He was in a village at the time with not a lot of options to fix it, so he used his trusty pliers and duct tape to give it a temporary fix until be could get it back to the hanger. I think he just liked that he slept through the night, as the last time he was here we had a four month old and a fourteen month old and neither of them slept through the night, or they were up very early.
