Mitten Machen: Review: Portland Pie Co.
http://www.mittenmachen.com/2010/09/review-portland-pie-co.html
Monday, September 6, 2010. Review: Portland Pie Co. After my recent post. About Flatbread Company's gluten-free pizza, several people pointed me toward Portland Pie Co. For $1.25 each, the toppings on my 10-inch pizza were pretty scarce. I went with red sauce, Daiya. Vegan cheese, black olives, broccoli, and garlic. For carrying Daiya, Portland Pie Co. earns three chickpeas. For vegan-accessibility. I'd love to see more creative vegetarian sandwich choices—currently there's a hummus wrap (yawn)...Septemb...

October 2, 2008. Because I think I’m going to be fine. I think I’m going to have 6 months of soup weather and that is more than okay with me. If I get sick of it I’ll take a trip to California.*. Pop in the oven for about 45 minutes, flipping every 15 minutes or so. They’re done when lightly browned on the outside and tender inside. They taste great right out of the oven, but honestly, they’re still good if you leave them out on the counter to snack on all day. Email (will not be published). I can’...

Two girls, two cities, two passions for vegan cuisine, and one blog to chronicle it all! Caution Ahead: Life Under Reconstruction. November 25, 2011 in K. Well, life has certainly changed a lot around here in the past few months! My degree of choice (buckle your seat-belts folks, it’s a shocker) is …. Nutrition! Those changes have led to the development of bulk weekend cooking and kind of boring meals in general. However the term is almost over (I can’t believe it has flown by so quickly! And I have a wh...

http://chezmama.blogspot.com/2008/01/chickpea-cutlets-with-mustard-caper.html
Mixing up food and music. Monday, January 28, 2008. Chickpea Cutlets With Mustard Caper Sauce. So, I had really been feeling the need for a new cookbook. I felt completely uninspired, and was having trouble coming up with new, fun, and healthy stuff to make. I went to every bookstore in town looking for Eat, Drink and Be Vegan. Makes lots of amazing-looking recipes from that book, so I really wanted it. Couldn't find it. Checked amazon.com. It doesn't even ship until mid-February! So, I bought Veganomicon.
Chez Mama: Holiday Cookies (One Month Late!)

Mixing up food and music. Saturday, January 17, 2009. Holiday Cookies (One Month Late! Okay, so I think I'm ready to get back into blogging regularly. I'm not making any promises, though. I've discovered lots of new favorite dishes in the last year, or so. I've been sticking with lots of those, and only occasionally make something that I haven't blogged about already. That probably isn't good, so how about I commit to making one new recipe each week? I made the Sparkled Ginger Cookies from VWAV. From Veg...

full of beans | adventures in nourishment
Posted September 16, 2013 by fullofbeans. Yesterday I began taking down the tomatoes not that they need much help from me. The heavy vines have been pulling their spindly supports down for weeks, sometimes ripping them right out of the earth. Greenery is browning fast, some branches shriveling to dusty nothingness while others, still juicy, play host to a dark creeping fungus. And everywhere, cracked fruits blacken, ooze, spill, stink. Posted May 8, 2013 by fullofbeans. But there is another category of.

So, I may have just lost a lot of readers but you’re entitled to your own opinion and I think what I will post could help everyone. Here is my analogy –. This is like our anger, it weighs us down and burdens our life. If we are still angry when the sun goes down then the next day will be burdened by your anger. September 15, 2012.
