I finished cutting out the pieces of the skirt. I've got two sparkly on black, three green and three plain black. I've started zigzag stitching around the outside of the pieces and then I'll (finally) start sewing them together. Where does it ever end? Friday, September 04, 2009. Ready for the Yarn Crawl (I think). It's been a busy week here getting ready for the Red Line Yarn Crawl. Ginger and I dyed yarn on Tuesday and it was the first time this season we could hang it out on the fence. A fence full of yarn always makes me so happy! I really feel like I've accomplished something. They are finally done, though.

Here's what I got done yesterday. Today, I put the first coat of paint on the crown molding and the first coat of poly on the floor. So I set some goals for the first day of this weekend’s WordPresss Wordcamp. My first experience among other bloggers and WordPress users. Notice people and smile. I first explored this branch when my parents were in town and we had nothing much to occupy us. Of course we visited the newest edition to Boston’s collection of branch libraries! Off Harvard Street, beside the Honan-Allston library. We paid a lot for those repairs, but we also gained a little something standing in the dirt of the street near the garage on a busy weekday morning. Once upon a time. One of those prizes was a free oil change at J and P Garage. David has been getting his car repaired there ever since.
