ArtBus Art Workshops | Here Now Dementia

The ArtBus project is a series of art and craft workshops for people who have dementia. The workshops are at St Paul’s Church, Holgate and are run by community artist Kirstie Briggs Bateman. We are lucky then, to have a stellar example of real, meaningful user involvement in York…. It’s not rocket science. It’s called ‘asking people with dementia what they think.’. And this week I had the great pleasure of supporting 7 people with dementia (and 1 carer) to attend the latest panel meeting.
