http://hum.ongo.us/2010/06/refinish-the-dining-room-table
Keeping up with the Donologg family. Refinish the dining room table. June 14th, 2010. Our beloved dining room table is now twelve years of age. I made it while I was in college, using the shop tools in the school’s art department (don’t tell). I also made use of the good folks at creative woodworking. Monica looking pleased that this project is finally underway. Test Filed under Crafting. Made it to Prague. In the thick of it – cyclocross. Backpacking in the Hoh Rain Forest. Backpacking at Opal Creek.

Keeping up with the Donologg family. Obsidian Trail and Middle Sister. October 3rd, 2010. This August we had the great fortune of doing our first two-night backpacking trip with the baby. We joined a trip already planned by my friend Ben and his fiancee up the Obsidian trail on the west side of Middle Sister. This was a really spectacular trail, if a little difficult. Arrowhead Lake above our camp site, with Middle Sister in the background. After our brilliant success at Opal Creek. The shards of obsidia...

Cyclocross Season Begins! at Humongous Love
http://hum.ongo.us/2010/10/cyclocross-season-begins
Keeping up with the Donologg family. October 3rd, 2010. Fall is here and that means the Cross season is upon us. To start things off right, I raced at the Battle at Barlow last weekend. Thats me, jumping over the barrier. Too bad for the guy who didnt dismount early enough. Photos courtesty of my dad. This legendary course is probably most famous for it’s severe run-up over a dozen widely spaced railroad ties. Think thigh burner. Like someone injected hot sulfuric acid into your quads. Made it to Prague.

Keeping up with the Donologg family. Backpacking in the Hoh Rain Forest. October 3rd, 2010. For our last camping trip of the summer, we went backpacking up the Hoh River Trail in the Olympic National Park. What a spectacular trail, with that outrageous mix of easy terrain and absolutely stunning forest scenery. This is a rain forest to be sure, but in the summer you can enjoy the verdant nature without the rain. The trees are enormous, and there are ferns and mosses everywhere. Ferry to Keystone on Whidb...
