My Race F1: Why?
http://myracef1.blogspot.com/2011/04/why.html
Thursday, 21 April 2011. I've been doing some thinking and have come to the conclusion that I'm doing this blogging business all wrong, actually it's quite rude of me. There's no context. At the moment I'm just some guy who rocked up and thought he'd start a blog about F1. Join the club. The conversation's been around for ages, but I've just forced my way in. So, who the hell am I? My name is Manfred, and I love Formula One. Hic - good job these guys never understood slurred english. Schumi - over exposed.

My Race F1: F1: Turkey FP3 Vettel quickest
http://myracef1.blogspot.com/2011/05/f1-turkey-fp3-vettel-quickest.html
Saturday, 7 May 2011. F1: Turkey FP3 Vettel quickest. Well Despite Sebastien Vettel not running at all in the dry yesterday, he's quickest having completed just 17 laps. Ominous signs for the contenders McLaren who were solid if unspectacular in P5 and P6. Special mention must again go to Petrov - again out-qualifying Heidfeld - 7 places back in P14 - can only wonder what Kubica could have done had he not injured himself. Here's a full report and timings. Posted by Manfred Weigt. View my complete profile.

Tuesday, 10 May 2011. F1: Martin Brundle reflects on season so far. Former F1 racer and BBC lead F1 commentator, Martin Brundle. MB), sums up the season so far and makes the right points on DRS and Pirelli. Jenson Button, Felipe Massa - Autosprt.com. See key points and link to full article below. Should the DRS activation point have been after the Turn 11 kink, rather than before it? I (MB) still believe each driver should be allowed a finite number of DRS activations per race. So that there is more of a...

My Race F1: F1: Post Turkey - state of Affairs
http://myracef1.blogspot.com/2011/05/f1-post-turkey-state-of-affairs.html
Monday, 9 May 2011. F1: Post Turkey - state of Affairs. After the Turkish Grand Prix, instead of doing a dissemination of the race's events, I think its time we look at the state of play in F1 and whether DRS and the new tires are good - for the sport and us fans. It was and exciting race, yes. In terms of on-track action there was plenty. And Isn't lap 11 just a tad too early for the first pit stop? Do we need to see 4 stops in a race? Where's the rivalry between drivers . teams. In recent years we've h...
