April 6, 2016. This a live post that I’ll update as I continue to explore Clojure. The materials are listed in chronological order. I guess it’s evident I prefer taking in a lot of audio-visual content when learning new topics. Listened to a lot of Functional Geekery. Podcasts for the first couple of months, which is how I got into Clojure. Watched the Up and Running with Clojure. Watched Chas Emerick’s video on Starting Clojure. Skip to main content. Friday Mar 20 2015, 09:47. Growing as a Developer Through Podcasts. I can’t remember when I first discovered the world of podcasting but it was around the time that Apple first added Podcasts to the iTunes store, so sometime around 2005. While I can’t recall the exact moment, looking back I find it incredible to consider the massive impact that discovery has had on me. A whole new world of knowledge and a whole new way of learning was opened up to me. The Ruby on Rails Podcast.
