Adventures of a NZ trail runner in wombat country. Post Surf Coast Century Wrap-up. Nightmare on Eumeralla. September 17, 2014. September 17, 2014. For me however it was bitter-sweet. I can say it was the toughest journey by far I have ever been on during an ultra. From heavy legs in the beginning to slurring my words like a drunk at 45km to smashing hills faster than ever at 80km there were some very extreme lows and very extreme highs. Leg 1 – Anglesea to Torquay. 21km. The Crew/family at the finish &#...

http://www.projectunited.com.au/2015/07/31/untightening-the-glutes
Where does the money go? In Flexibility and Mobility. If you happen to hear someone calling you a tight-ass, sure, they may be referring to your thrifty financial tendencies. However, there is a chance that they noticed a lack of mobility or limited range of motion in your hips, legs, or back and could be warning you to loosen up your glutes. Grinding out the glutes. Place the trigger point ball on the ground so it won’t roll away. Alternatively, start from one side of the buttock and work yourself forwa...

Releasing the sole - Project UNITED
http://www.projectunited.com.au/2015/08/14/releasing-the-sole
Where does the money go? In Flexibility and Mobility. Despite spending a large chunk of our day on them, we probably don’t give our feet and soles the attention they deserve.
