Blogging - Ian Heydon Ian Heydon. Who Is Ian Heydon? In 2011, Ian discovered the joys of blogging. Up until then it seemed amateurish, but technology (as it does) had improved and professional-looking blogs were possible. His first blog was about his Multiple Sclerosis ( www.MyMS.com.au. This was initially set up to demystify MS for family and friends. From the ‘pages’ on MS, it moved to posts jokes, observations and really, just a diary, which became quite therapeutic. Oh, and this wee site, too. And I ...

Functioning Awkwardholic | One Blundering Day At A Time
One Blundering Day At A Time. Not) Working for the Weekend. December 10, 2014. My week thus far:. Monday: Finally sleeping soundly after a fitful night. Until Cat A uses my face as a launching pad whilst chasing Cat B around the house. Tuesday: Cat A trampolines right onto my solar plexus, essentially giving me a Heimlich wake-up call. Spend the next 3 hours trying not to vom. Or murder cat. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. November 27, 2014. November 27, 2014. I love wine. I don’t know. The funny...

The Functioning Cheese Addict
Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Langres, (Lan)-GREY-sah. Just kidding, I have no idea. Long have I been gone from the bandwidth-bound halls of the blogonet, and far have I travelled. I return now for those hopeful ears still checking this site like a cold war spymaster. Your brain, let me tell you about today's cheese. I have honestly no idea how frequently these posts are going to come out, but I'm going to savor writing it so I hope you at least mildly enjoy reading it. I ask him if he carries any other b...

Functioning Chumesa
Monday, November 7, 2016. I quickly discovered that my low opinion of writing exacerbated a typical problem for writers: the inability to write with any value for extended periods. I immediately settled into a routine wherein I accepted as little as one paragraph of progress as suitable effort for a day. From there, I would indulge in "working on my plot" by "thinking about it" - i.e. playing games or watching movies until I felt like sleeping again. Tuesday, September 22, 2015. A Few Years On. The end r...

Functioning Faith
Every question has an answer. Every need has a solution. Transformation is never a question of if, but of how. The how is connecting. That’s what we do. We’re connectors. We connect people to Christ, resources to needs, people to each other, actions to our faith. We do that by showing people how to walk out their faith by walking it with them. It stands to reason then or so it goes, that EVANGELISIM is the answer, the solution for bringing a lost and dying world to the Giver of Liferight?
