Jains and Jainism: Science and Religion
http://mahavir-sanglikar.blogspot.com/2010/05/science-and-religion.html
Monday, May 24, 2010. It is a natural tendency in common men to love their country, state, district, city/town and the street where they live. Same thing happens in the case of their religion. They love their religion because they were born into the religion that belongs to them. If a Hindu who loves his religion had born in Muslim family instead of a Hindu family, he would have loved Islam, and not Hinduism. All of the chief disciples were from Bramhin and Kshatriya community. Before him, the chief disciples of Saman Parshwnath also were from above two communities. All the chief dispels, who are known as Gandhars, were great scholars. The only answer to this question is that these great Samans wanted genius scholars, and not the traders.

Jains and Jainism: Customs and Traditions in Jain Community
http://mahavir-sanglikar.blogspot.com/2010/06/customs-and-traditions-in-jain.html
Thursday, June 10, 2010. Customs and Traditions in Jain Community. If all sects and linguistic/ethnic groups of Jain community follow a specific custom or tradition, we can surely say that is a Jain tradition. On the other hand, if a custom or tradition occurs only in a specific group of the Jain community, it is not a Jain tradition. So presenting languages, customs and traditions of a small part of entire Jain community as Jain things is just a stupidity. This happens just because most of the Jains...
