Tuesday, November 1, 2011. I did face painting at a birthday party just before Halloween so we had a variety of faces at the party. We did some princesses and some Halloween themes. It was fun to do some new things. I did my kids for Halloween too, my daughter was a purple witch and my son was Venom or black spiderman as he calls it. They were so excited to go back that they were up and ready an half hour early. Karen started 3rd grade and Michael started 1st grade. Here are some pictures of them after their first day of school. Jen and Neils family fun :). Monday, March 19, 2012. I'm feeling very springy lately. The beautiful weather last week and the temperatures in the 70s really got me ready for spring. Then the snow came and I'm hoping it will melt soon and we can be outside again. Michael has been in an indoor soccer class that he has loved! Jen and Neils family fun :). Saturday, June 2, 2012. My beautiful daughter just got baptized today and is officially a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint. What a beautiful day it was! I'm so happy for my little girl and very glad of the choice she's made. I hope I can help her to continue to learn all she needs to so she can return to live with her Father in Heaven some day. She is such a sweet little girl, thanks for letting us share that special day with you all.

Jen and Neils family fun :). Tuesday, January 10, 2012. I was so happy and best of all, the kids were happy too! It even made it less stressful because I had prepared so much ahead of time. As I look back I think there were 3 things that really helped make it a good time. Coloring a picture in the kids coloring book. Watching TV and eating marshmallows. Hanging out with all of Karen's Barbies. Snowball (marshmallow) fight with a snowman and penguin decoration. Reading in 3rd Nephi about the birth of Jesus.
