Storytime in the Stacks. Tales of a teacher turned library lady. Flannel Friday: See the Olympians. September 2, 2016. Happy Friday and hopefully a long Labor Day weekend everyone! This is a set I made a few weeks ago during the Olympics to go with a fun action rhyme my wonderful co-worker Janell came up with. Here it goes:. Mary Had a Little Lamb. See the runners run, run, run. Run run run, run run run. See the runners run, run, run. I made this fun set by using the following technique. Address never ma...

http://firstgradespies.blogspot.com/2013/08/made-it-monday-trash-to-treasure.html
Monday, August 5, 2013. Made it Monday - Trash to Treasure! Since it is Monday, I just have to link up again with Tara over in 4th Grade Frolics. For another edition of her Made it Monday linky party! Summer is winding down so of course that means that all my craft projects have to get done and quick! The first thing I did to make the table over was to paint the top with dry erase paint that I bought from Walmart! The next phase of this project was mentally challenging! The bin was just a hair too small ...

http://sweetroom16.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Celebrating Kindergarten Every Day! Thursday, March 28, 2013. I'm hesitant to say this. I don't want to jinx anything. But it's finally starting to feel like spring again around here! The snow has melted! The sun is out! I didn't even need a jacket outside! Naturally, it was the perfect time to do some spring activities in first grade. I've done this before with regular paint and brushes, but this was a little more controlled. My only suggestion is to MOVE QUICKLY and be ready to squeeze a little ext...

Storytime in the Stacks. Tales of a teacher turned library lady. Flannel Friday: Little Moon, Little Moon. August 12, 2016. August 17, 2016. This little game went over really well with the family crowd this week- I even caught a mom taking a picture so she could recreate it at home! Our weekly theme was all about Bedtime and our Every Child Ready to Read focus was Play, so I made a little flannel that worked well with both. It could also go with an outer space theme. Is that you behind the blue. Enter yo...
