Thursday, February 25, 2010. So I know that this post is long overdue but I have been really busy and really tired to post it. As most of you already know.baby Ava was born on Sunday, February 21st at 12:52pm. It was a pretty long labor and almost ended in a c-section. So I called Blake and said that I needed a witness that I really wasn't crazy and that it wasn't pee! We showed up at the hospital around 1pm and they ran tests, all came back negative. Sunday, June 27, 2010. I forgot to mention something else about Ava. She was in the Freedom Festival Cute baby contest and she got 3rd place in the 0-3 month category! They not only look at how cute they are but they look at their personality too. I think she would have gotten 1st place if she had smiled right off the bat but it took her a while to warm up to the judges. Sunday, February 20, 2011. Ava is a professional walker! As soon as we moved in she started taking off walking. She doesn't even want to crawl any more. She was really sick in the beginning of December. She had croup and bronchiolitis. It was so sad to see her suffer. Can you believe that she is a year old? I can't believe it! Sunday, February 20, 2011. Ava is 9 months old and she is trying to walk, she will walk along furniture but can't get the courage to walk by herself. We couldn't believe how big it was! They didn't know it was that big until they went in for the biopsy. They said that treatment is chemo and radiation. Monday, June 29, 2015. This year we gave Chandler and Sterling two options: one big party, or two smaller parties. They both wanted a bigger party with a bounce house, so that's what we did. Of course, in late June, in Vegas, it's hot. so we rented a bouncy water slide instead. Good thing, since it was something like 112 degrees on Saturday! I'm afraid these pictures don't do justice to the amount of chaos that was happening on the slide. Happy birthday boys. we love you! Posted by Brandon and Bethany.

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. We made cookies, which went undelivered for fear of delivering the flu with them. :). Christmas eve we didn't hang out stockings or wear our fancy new PJs. Grandpa was just too sick. But, Christmas morning Santa still brought presents. And we still had hunts. And Christmas night, instead, we hung our stockings, read a Christmas story, doned our PJs and enjoyed opening presents to and from each other. Saturday we enjoyed the tide pools in Laguna, and lunch at El Torrito.

Saturday, July 11, 2015. I think I enjoy setting off fireworks in the front yard is just the best. As a bonus, someone in the neighborhood just to the south of us must spend thousands of dollars on illegal fireworks each year and the put on a whole show. Unfortunately, the fireworks made Grendel, my mom's dog, sick; not the best. Warning: High ISO=noisy/sometimes blurry pictures. Noisy and blurry pictures that I just really love. Someone buy me a nice flash and teach me how to use it. Love, some legs.
