Within the context of Module 5 and as a case study, my lack of knowledge surrounding the use of P2P technology outlines how important it is, as advanced internet users, to make ourselves fully knowledgable about the technologies available to us and their potential appropriate utilization. It also makes it clear that many aspects of a technology must be considered and explored before it can be utilized.

Thursday, May 24, 2007. I have come to the end of the NET11 Internet Communications unit for SP1 and hence this will be my last post for my Learning Log. I have found the experience an extremely interesting one and have thouroughly enjoyed studying online. NET11 has provided me with a valuable array of new skills which have greatly changed the way that I now approach using the internet. I am looking forward to continuing my online journey over the next three years re attaining a BA in Internet Studies.

Sunday, 15 April 2007. Module 3 Task- FTP Upload Task. I finally managed to get the CoreFTP program to upload my web page into the Curtin Server. I also installed the Curtin VPN so i could view the site. It is great to finally have it all working. I used FTP with my Geocities account this morning as well to complete listing for eBay. You can seek authorisation from Curtin, however this would be for more marketing type tasks, and not an assignment. Here is the link to the logo use policy:.
