Writers of Rohan: Well, That Was Traumatic
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2015/03/well-that-was-traumatic.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Well, That Was Traumatic. It started with a cat. We’ve been having some pretty nice spring weather lately; on Wednesday afternoon, Timothy decided to go out on the deck after school and enjoy some sunshine. What he didn’t plan on was a cat that knocked the dowel back into the sliding glass door track, effectively locking him outside. He replied, “Good. You can take Sarah to the E.R.”. We trundled off to the E.R. at around 7 pm They ...Sarah...

Writers of Rohan: January 2015

Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Here is part two of our Christmas day. We spent the day with the Lawrence family, and enjoyed the new remodeling of Richard and Suzanne’s home in Brigham City. Fortunately the weather was wet, but not too bad on the drive. We chatted and played some before dinner. And we all fit in the dining room, if only barely. After dinner, many of the grandkids went outside to play in the snow, of which there was plenty. And some other moments. She w...

Writers of Rohan: November 2014
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, November 30, 2014. I’ll preface this by saying that this happened at the beginning of September. (But it resembles my life today with some similarities, but more on that later.). And that’s when I found his head wound. And the blood on the floor and her bed. His head was tender for a few days, but he is just fine. I can see a little spot on his head where the scab was and where there isn’t as much hair, but that is all that remains. 8221; (a slightly modif...

C is for...: Christmas festivities
http://annieandscottie.blogspot.com/2015/02/christmas-festivities.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Christmas seems like a long time ago. Here are some pics of our festivities. We started our festivities by picking out a Charlie Brown Christmas tree at the beginning of December:. Ok So we didn't pick this tree, but Hannah sure looked cute next to it. Our annual outing to Festival of Trees:. Hannah LOVED all the many Frozen-themed trees- even this tiny one! We enjoyed our traditional Chinese dinner after the festival. Quick trip to St. George for the Forgotten Carols:. We enjo...

Writers of Rohan: The Little Things
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2015/06/the-little-things.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Really, it is the little things that make one happy, and in this instance, it was the little things that drove me crazy. This is how my pantry was set up when we moved in. (Minus a few more layers of that floral covering stuff that was on all the shelves at one point. I may have ripped some of it off.). Jared looked at the shelves, did some planning and measurements, and came up with an alternative. If you look closely, you can see that s...

Me and my Nelson men: December 2012
http://steveandalana.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Me and my Nelson men. Monday, December 10, 2012. Every morning I get to come in to this little face, the first thing I ask him is how he slept and what he dreamt about. Every day for the last week I am caught before I ask, and he says, "MOM. Mom. I dreamed 'bout cheeeekins! Some days its about cows too. Perhaps this kid needs to be raised on a farm? Maybe we will look for a home with some land so we can help him live his dreams :). I'd like to give a shout out to my friend here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I never knew a new job oppurtunity would present itself in such a graphic manner ~ Something Cliche
http://shameonyou21.blogspot.com/2011/01/i-never-knew-new-job-oppurtunity-would.html
Monday, January 17, 2011. I never knew a new job oppurtunity would present itself in such a graphic manner. I recently had a photo-shoot. It wasn't for a client. It was one that my sister and I had come up with just for some extra fun and to try out some ideas. Basically something to keep us sharp and from gnawing off our own limbs during the slower winter months. Leave it to me to make things harder then necessary. I decided, not only did I want a cute couple but I wanted a couple cute dogs too! Kristen...

Writers of Rohan: April 2014
http://www.jaredandmary.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, April 27, 2014. Well, it was 14 years ago today that the two of us became one family. It hardly seems like we’ve been married for that long and yet I have a hard time remembering life before it. And if I say anything else, it’ll just come out cheesy. So let’s just say, it’s been a good fit. And here is one of me with two of my nieces. It’s just too cute not to share, especially since they are both teenagers now. Posted by Marydalene Lawrence. One Saturday ...

http://www.jaredandmary.com/2015/03/the-letter-that-ran-away.html
Jared and Mary muse about everyday life. Sunday, March 8, 2015. The Letter that Ran Away. So, I had plans. Really. Will you ever forgive me? As a belated peace offering, I present our 2014 Christmas letter. This is what I would have sent to you if I’d actually gotten my act together. Ah well. There’s always this year. Posted by Marydalene Lawrence. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A change to the Olympics. John and Kathy's Rantings. Happy Birthday, JJ. There I was minding my own business. Gotta Just L...
