Monday, August 3, 2015. Ava at age 5. I always like to reflect around birthdays. With Ava turning 5, here are some highlights of her life as of right now. 1 She's playing soccer, her first sport. I'm thinking she won't make it into a career, but she is having fun. She has been goalie twice, and I'm not sure anyone told her she is supposed to block the balls from coming in. They kick it in, and then she gets to kick it back out. What's not to love about that? And she does the best jumping jacks! 7 I think...

We were able to attend an anniversary celebration at Berean this past weekend for our former pastor, and they took this picture when we got there. The fabric was perfect, and I still think one of my favorite parts was the stone path that of course I didn't get a picture of. Thanks, Nancy, for all of your hard work on the canopy with the fabric and the flowers and the garland and everything else also in the hot sun! Thanks, Mom, for all you did with the food and your special gifts for all of us that you brought. I still can't believe how much you did! Jack and Ava Jane.

At co-op the other day, the art teacher was using Borax and trying to explain what it is and said maybe your mom uses this in your laundry to make it soft. Jack said, "My mom just uses Tide." I think I should get some free Tide for that right? Jack said randomly, "Mommy, did you know there are 10000 lakes in this whole land? Ava at the zoo in a particularly stinky area. Believe it or not, he was having a pillow fight with Mark and Sydney.he landed on Sydney's ankle.he was crying and laid down and fell asleep, so we thought he was ok.but next morning he was still complaining and not using his arm.
