IntenseGuy: September 2014
http://intenseguy.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 19, 2014. One summer, a long time ago. I recently dug up an old photograph and my younger brother and I racked our brains to try to remember who was who. This group shot shows me and my Boy Scout troop setting off on a canoe trip in Maine. Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Labor Day Weekend in Chestertown, Maryland. I was there alone this weekend - as the parents were and are on Lake Michigan. The "Pride of Baltimore II" was in Chestertown, Maryland to be part of the "goings on.". I took a bo...

IntenseGuy: June 2015

Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Now that the office has been moved to the downstairs floor of my house, it seemed neccessary to do some outside "yard work" to spruce things up for when clients came over. The stucco is rather . dingy. A fresh coat of paint goes a long way. The paver edging was in need of relaying and straightening. Rough on the tender "keyboarder's hands"! I think the results were worth the couple hours in the hot sun. Another shot of the end of house "flower bed". I decided to dig a trench to ...

Zombie Rock Chef: My Town is Famous Again!
http://rock-chef.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-town-is-famous-again.html
Thursday, 2 July 2015. My Town is Famous Again! Following up its previous claim to fame for having the worst Christmas Tree in the country, my little town is in the national news again. JAWS: ‘Great white shark’ spotted off Herne Bay coast causes exodus of terrified swimmers from sea. Could have been a horrific incident, you would have thought that this news would have spread like wildfire. But, um, no. But it got us in the news again, and not because everyone is laughing at us! 2 July 2015 at 18:07.

Zombie Rock Chef: Animals
http://rock-chef.blogspot.com/2015/08/animals.html
Tuesday, 4 August 2015. A while back, Mrs RC made a nest box for a pair of doves that were extremely bad at nest building. The box worked, the doves moved in and here are the babies they had! The adults have now rebuilt the nest and seem intent on having more babies before the summer ends. When we found this in the garden I thought it was some sort of snake at first. Turns out to be the caterpillar of a Giant Hawk Moth. Bees and butterflies also seem to like our garden. Well, look at the dove kids! Then ...

Zombie Rock Chef: Summer Part 1
http://rock-chef.blogspot.com/2015/08/summer-part-1.html
Monday, 3 August 2015. Back to things after a week's break, mainly at home. Not a very restful week, but still great fun, including going to a niece's wedding in the village that Mrs RC grew up in. We had a family stroll through the village while being regaled with childhood memories, including admiring the tight bend on the road where Mrs RC's mum once fell out of the car and had to run along the road to catch up. Back soon with photos of the latest creepy-crawly to appear in our garden. Kids are great,...

Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Barnaget Lighthouse - Sunset Cruise. I know I've not posted anything lately. I don't know where my blogging mojo went. Recently, I went on a sunset cruise off Barnegat Light, Long Beach Island, on the "Miss Barnegat Light." I took lots of photos - it was a beautiful evening. The water was warm(ish) at 73F and the breeze kept things cool. The boat left from the "Viking Fishing Village.". Later, all the little kids (and me) would get to drive the boat! IntenseGuy: February 2015
http://intenseguy.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 5, 2015. A Trip to Cuba. Today is a wintry, gloomy day here in the Philadelphia, PA suburbs. It snow flurried briefly this morning - leaving some powdery slippery spots here and there - we've about an inch on the ground (and piles in the parking lots) that is rock solid - it rained briefly and then the temperature plummeted into the teens. I'll be glad to see spring (I almost always am! I hate the gloom more than the muddy snow mess. In a strange coincidence, the same day I found this ...

Friday, 27 February 2015. The weekend has finally arrived, and not a moment too soon! It has been a long and exhausting week, and we are now looking forward to a nice lazy couple of days. Especially as it is Mrs RC's birthday on Sunday! She is planning to celebrate by not doing anything except enjoy being waited on and pampered. Should be a great day. See you next week! Monday, 23 February 2015. Anyway, I am currently bursting with pride because of our youngest son, "Arnie". Tell me you are not impressed!
