Half year project rendering. Less then a week again, but we're finished with the animasjon and have started rendering. I have been sitting alone during the evenings now, visited by Lasse during the early hours. I am keeping an eye one the renders and making sure they are all running so we get them done on time. Keeping an eye on almost 10 computers at the same time and which scenes are done got hard after a while, but managed. Some helpfull notes trying to kep a eye on the renders, sorry for the mess.

Half year project Scene texture. Added an example of the scene texture drawn by me early in the project. I got the idea on while watching a different group prosject while they were working, drawing up textrure for their mattepainting. When I showed the others they liked it and I got the task to texture all of our scenes. It looks quite onecolored, but when you render it on the sceneground it looks quite good. Half year project Ink'n paint vs. mr lighting. One of the problems we encountered during this project was an incompatibility between ink’n paint and mr lighting. Ink’n paint those work with mental ray, but in a different way and to get similar results you do need to make several modifications to your materials. What mr lighting caused was that the paint levels did not show up and made all of the objects to be really smooth looking, it also removed the few bump materials that we have in our scenes. Observation drawings, second semester. This semester we were asked to draw up twelve new observational drawings, enjoy! PS I don't claim to be a good drawer, I rarely take the time to sit down and draw, but I do enjoy it when I do. Trampoline, fan and book. Cherry tree, wall lamp and fenced in outdoor area. Half year project storyboards second draft. As promised, here you have our second draft to our storyboard. The first draft was quite a mess were all three of us were working on it at the same time and drawing up different shots individually, here Lasse took it up the job to clean it up and update it with anything new next to working with the rest of us on the production. Week 13 of 17. Alot of the same this week too, with animation and some modeling of props, but the biggest thing which happened this week were mass changing of our materials so they work properly on the distance aswell as close up, this came specialy clear on the sceneground where you could both see far away and close up of the same object at the same time.
