I started Futility Studios as a way to feed my passion for vintage vehicles when I couldn't actually be in the garage working on one. I work almost exclusively with vintage car and motorcycle parts and industrial equipment and turn them into functional art for the home. The name, Futility Studios, came from a fortune cookie I received that read "One day you will realize how futile your life really is.". Thank you for looking . This piece was named after the Shinto goddess of the sun because it shimmers when lit. It is made mostly from vintage car parts. Named after a giant in Norse mythology who wielded a bright sword during the Ragnarök. The wooden legs were bent to mimic leaf springs. This piece was named after A. Tolstoy's novel and the classic Russian silent film,. Aelita: Queen of Mars. It was designed with a nod to 1950s Modeline lamps. This floating piece took its name from a moon of Saturn, and a Greek Titan.

יום שני, 22 בנובמבר 2010. The Stoning of Soraya M- הרהורים על הסרט. היום סוף סוף ישבתי מול הטלויזיה וראיתי סרט שכבר מלא זמן אני חופר לעצמי בראש שאני חייב לראות אותו. The Stoning of Soraya M. או "סקילתה של סוראיה M" בעברית. בארץ לא כל כך אוהבים לקורא לו כך ומעדיפים רק סוראיה M, כי סקילה זו מילה קצת קשה מדי בשבילנו. וכך גם הסרט, קשה, קשה מאוד, לצפייה, לעיכול, להבנה. בכמה מילים (ואין מה להרחיב יותר מדי כי על הסרט, תמצאו גם במקומות אחרים תקציר, וגם יותר טוב מכאן, זה בטוח*). שהייתה מועמדת לאוסקר על הסרט הזה.
