Taiwan Design Expo 2005. Wednesday, November 7, 2007. The Future Pavilion was realized for the Taiwan Desing Expo 2005 by an international group of architects, writers and artists curated by Marco Casagrande and Nikita Wu for the Taiwan Design Centre. Taiwan Design Expo - Kaoshioung Taiwan 2005. Thursday, 1 January 2009. The Future Pavilion was part of the Taiwan Design Expo 2005 in Kaoshioung. The Future Pavilion was a ruin. Ruin is when man-made has become part of nature. The ruin of an abandoned Japanese army laundry building was divided into 4 sectors, each with invited artists and architects to deal with the themes of Urban Acupuncture, Urban Nomad, Organic Layer and Ocean. Hsu Chun-Cheng, architecture student from Shy Chien University was selected to the Future Pavilion's Urban Nomad wing to present his project "Urban Camper", a movable dignity unit for post urban man including: Herhof portable biological. Mechanical anaerobic composting unit, gas conditioning unit and bio-gas based electricity converter, bird. Garden and collecting unit of birds digested sludge, rain water collecting and bio-filtering unit, 1100 cc bio.
