It was a little awkward explaining the extent of my drug and alcohol abuse with my mother there, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Kinda funny when he asked how much I used to drink before Mercy and my mom said, “A LOT! And she wants me to actually follow through with it. I have to go back before I leave Omaha. I can handle that too.

5'4, 123-124 lbs. Have juiced, fasted, been vegan for a year and 90-95% raw for a few months before. That was the last time I lost a lot of weight (160 down to 110). Went on a hiatus from being vegan, got back up to 145, and now down to my current weight, been vegan for 5 and 1/2 months now and I would say I'm about 60% raw. Want to juice, smoothie and salad my way down to 115 in 2 wks. A little extreme. But an 18 day juice fast is how I lost 20 lbs and kept it off for quite awhile last time.

Why is it so hard? 6 years ago I was a raw vegan. I had been pregnant with my daughter and for some reason couldn't keep down anything cooked. It was then that I heard of being raw and really liked it. So eventually I caved and started eating cooked foods again, eventually also eating meat. I make this drink for myself nearly every day, so I wanted to share it with you all. 1/2 Lemon, hand-squeezed into a regular-sized glass. 1 Tablespoon Raw Agave Nectar. 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds (Optional).
