USA Elite Select/VA Stingrays Showcase. This is the 8th year for the VA Stingrays College Showcase. The tournament is a USSSA qualifier for 16u and 18u teams scheduled for June 4-5, 2016. Field locations are in Annandale, Virginia, at the Wakefield Park complex and other nearby county parks and high schools. The format is a 3 pool play, followed by single elimination. Stingrays Fastpitch will host the 22nd annual VA Stingrays Classic on May 14-15, 2016. The VA Stingrays have hosted the Spring Classic for 22 years. Stingrays Fastpitch is a select travel softball program based in Northern Virginia. They are organized under the umbrella of the BRYC Softball Program which also conducts house leagues for girls from ages 4 thru 18. The first Stingrays team took the field in the mid-1990’s.
