The meadow was packed with sledders. The most I’ve ever seen on Picnic Hill in 26 years. The steady stream of sledders reminded me of old army movies with bombers dropping lines of parachutes from their steel bellies. Collisions were sometimes unavoidable…. Even though there isn’t anything stored in the old warehouse there were still 5 fluorescent bulbs hanging on for dear life on the second floor. You can see the cobwebs covering everything, so it’s obviously been a while since anyone’s done any maintenance on the place. Clear shot to the Gowanus Expressway. 127 year old brickwork.

In the late 1960s, Alcatrz was claimed as Native American territory. A number of “settlers” lived on the island and made a home out of the cells and barracks. Some rooms downstairs had seen better days. Electro Convulsive Therapy Machine. Despite the time lapse, it looked like some rooms hadn’t changed at all. Note the toilet paper still on its roll decades after the building’s doors had been shuttered. For that deep down body thirst. Old medical records were strewn everywhere.

April 16, 2014. New Orleans – April 12 14, 2014. 8212; wally426 @ 10:33 am. Garden of the Gods. Because of the climate, homeowners are constantly fighting nature, whether it be floods or fawns. The World War II museum was one of the most impressive collections I’ve ever seen. Most of the wings were finished a couple months ago and were set up like huge airplane hangars. for obvious reasons. Sargeant First Class Michael Cuzzort put in over 33 years of service and was recognized with a presidential citation.
