Our family's new adventure going gluten-free. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Today Jude saw his pediatrician. Normally he has his annual check-up in April, but since we went gluten-free and dairy-free the first week of April I wanted to wait to take Jude in for his check-up, to see what the new diet did first. (Plus we were at the doctor A TON in '09 so I wasn't too worried about letting a few months go by.). He jumped up on the growth chart instead of continuing to fall off of it! Dr appts. last year...

I've been loving every meal he's made this week! This Lemon Herb Halibut with toasted Almond and Cherry quinoa, on a bed of thinly chopped kale, and a homemade honey mustard dresssing has been my favorite so far:. Our family's new adventure going gluten-free. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Gluten Free "Soft Tortillas". Our friends Matt and Jana always come up with creative food options. I often like to see what they are inventing in their kitchen when we visit. Like these soft tortillas made of quinoa. When we were recently visiting, Matt even whipped up a sauce on the spot for us to put on our burritos, and it was amazing! I couldn't even tell you how to recreate it, but I often wish my brain worked like that. :).
