Thursday, January 3, 2013. Today we were able to catch a glimpse of the prettier side of Israel. This side has more water and the irrigation systems keep the land green and beautiful. The morning started out with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. The ride was gorgeous and we had a great devotional out in the middle of the sea. It has probably been one of my favorite parts of the trip thus far. The Sea of Galilee early in the morning. Mrs Edna was singing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands".

Sunday, December 30, 2012. Sunday, Dec 30th. Today was another amazing day We traveled to Bethlehem to go shopping (where I spent all of my money). We also went to the Upper Room in Mt Zion, the Shrine of the Book where we saw a replica of the old city of Jerusalem, the Church of the Nativity in Manger Square and to the Wailing Wall. We have walked many steps and climbed many steps. It has been an amazing trip so far. Really tired so we are headed to bed soon.it's 10 pm here and 2 o'clock back in TN.
