Saturday, December 5, 2009. We just got back from our first ever cruise! It was really fun. We went on the Carnival Elation from San Diego to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. Kathy (my sister) and her husband Bill, and Ron (my brother) and his girlfriend Mary went with us. It was great having them there to do stuff with, and to show us the ropes. We ate lots and lots and lots of wonderful food! I probably gained 5 pounds! I might have to consider doing a cruise again some day. Enjoy the pictures.

Thursday, May 10, 2012. Blogging hasn't been high on my priority list lately. But I hadn't realized that it had been over a year since my last post! My hair is growing back. It's so nice to have hair again! I have been cancer-free for over two years now! I got braces in December! I am so looking forward to having straight teeth for the first time in my life! Monday, April 11, 2011. Both doctors agreed that it was probably a benign tumor (a miningioma. That is very common, but because of my history with breast cancer they wanted to take it out to make sure it wasn't cancer. So after feeling good about the diagnosis, we were able to schedule surgery for Monday, April 4. It's pretty scary. Thinking about having brain surgery, but I felt peace that we were making the right decision. The surgery went well. It was benign! Posted by Nancy Tiffany.

Tuesday, December 7, 2010. We have also had a lot of fun lately! Here are a bunch of pictures to show what we've been up to! Sweet Lauryn turned 4 years old on July 30! Cute Nolan turned 3 years old on September 2! Nolan and Jason shared blowing out candles on a Birthday cake! We had a wonderful time camping on Labor Day weekend! Sunday, April 14, 2013. Not much new to report. I think Facebook has taken people away from blogging. It is so fun to see what is happening on Facebook, and it is instant and easy. I still love reading people's blogs, but it is more work for people to update them. Same for me. I did run the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 10K! Thursday, January 28, 2010. Cancer is a Scarey Word. So my journey has begun. After I am healed and done with chemo, I will decide if I want to have more surgery to begin reconstruction. Life is always full of surprises. I am so appreciative of all the love and support I have received from family and friends. It has helped more than they know. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. I know I haven't posted lately. So here are a bunch of pictures to catch up on what we've been doing. I won free tickets to the Grand Canyon Railway last year from the United Blood Services for donating blood. So we finally used them in June. Here we are on the train. We took a long hike along the edge of the Canyon. Gary resting in the shade. Here is a motorcycle cake that Gavin (age 10) made for Father's Day. Didn't he do a great job? He made the whole cake by himself.

Monday, February 15, 2010. Chemotherapy is NO fun! I didn't expect chemotherapy to be fun, or even non-eventful. But I did expect it to pass within a few days of the treatment. I thought I would be nauseous, tired, maybe even have diarrhea. But what I got was way different than what I expected. I have lots of compassion for them if it is. I am grateful for my lousiness. No matter how lousy it is. I just hope it goes away soon. I miss my old self. I miss being happy and productive. I miss enjo...Well mayb...
