En iniya thamizh makkaLe. Monday, January 29, 2007. No words to express my awe for these doyens of Tamil Film Industry. A little bit of background on this movie. This was a story that came as a serial in a Tamil Vernacular Ananda Vikatan, written by Kothamangalam Subbu. The story was conceived and converted into a movie format by AP Nagarajan. En iniya thamizh makkaLe. Monday, August 08, 2005. Earning mode to Learning mode. What makes life more interesting to live? That every Human being wants to live? What is education for? Well, here I go again with more questions that keep. Resonating in me day in and day out. This time I am. Going to try and make it more mundane and sound more. Like a normal person. Ahem, this is in attempt to. Honor some of my friends, who read my blogs and. Comment, “Well it was a decent read, but what are you. Then agai...

En iniya thamizh makkaLe. Friday, April 29, 2005. A Statistical approach to estimate the “value” of LIFE. Owing to the limitation in the English language I refer 'LIFE '(in capitals) to. And 'life' (in small) to. Y = [beta]n * [X]n e. Here, the “unknown” variable LIFE adorns the hat of the dependent variable. To estimate this quantity we perform a regression analysis called life, with lot of hypothesis testing considering all the variables that helps us determine the value of LIFE. Hint1) A very importan...

Empty thoughts and mutterings: April 2005
http://dinster.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Empty thoughts and mutterings. Monday, April 25, 2005. A conversation with my conscience. Why do we act like we deserved everything we have and some things we don't have? Why is that we are never satisfied with what we have and always want more? Why is that when our problems get solved, we always find new problems to entertain ourselves with? I sat down and thought if I would have done anything different given another chance at the visa office? What did I do to deserve good parents? I didnt do a thing!

Empty thoughts and mutterings: March 2006
http://dinster.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Empty thoughts and mutterings. Friday, March 31, 2006. Spin: As for the spinners, the selectors seem to have got it into their head that playing kumble in ODI's will not work for us in the long term. So I guess he's out for sure. I don't quite agreee with this. You can call him old, and you can call him tired, but today, he's still our best bet for a wicket! So here's my consolidated list (If I had my way):. Waiting in the wings. 3 Ramesh powar (reluctantly :). What do you have to say? There is no questi...

Miles to go before I sleep...: March 2006
http://ksprabhu.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Miles to go before I sleep. Thursday, March 23, 2006. A few thoughts that occured to me after the team has been announced -. With Sachin out, doesnt this Indian batting order look real shaky? Look at the batting lineup now. Gambhir is mercurial at best. Raina is still untested. Kaif and Dhoni are still unreliable. We have Dravid, Yuvi to rely upon and hope Dhoni can continue his scintillating form from the Ind-Pak series. Doesn't a Ganguly at the top of the order make the batting order more stable? Kumbl...

Miles to go before I sleep. Wednesday, October 04, 2006. So, me back to working full swing. Full swing as in work-check email-check news-stare at the monitor-check email-news-work! I have become a complusive email checker and a news ticker. And this does not mean, I get emails quite a lot but atleast a lot of things (good and bad) are happening in the world to comment upon. I feel this is total b.s. to even talk about pardoning his acts. Take a look at what All India Anti-Terror Chairman says. LOL :) Tha...

Miles to go before I sleep...: India here I come!
http://ksprabhu.blogspot.com/2006/09/india-here-i-come.html
Miles to go before I sleep. Tuesday, September 05, 2006. India here I come! The initial seeds were sown sometime in March. Yes, that's how long you have to look ahead while planning an India trip especially if you have to schedule a visa interview. And this 6 month wait is after the so-called-rush-reducing rule - that you have to pay a non-refundable 100$ to book an appointment. I guess things were better before this rule. It is high time they open another embassy in Hyderabad or Bangalore. All rite guys,.
