Summer – so far. Our summer (so far) has been taken up with a lot of house hunting sprinkled with family fun. Our house hunting came close a few times, but eventually we decided to enjoy one more winter living in the city. This Spring I was finally able to make it to Orford to help my mom plant her garden. We had hot, beautiful weather and we managed to get everything planted. Kirby helped by making the beautiful garden labels, then mom and I got busy planting the potato crop. It was a really nice party.

East Coast trip – Day 3. On Monday morning, it was finally time for our puffin tour! The tour sailed at 7am so we had to be up at 6am (except we crossed in to the Eastern time zone in New Brunswick so it was actually 5am for us). Welcome to Gab and Liv Designs. Gab and Liv Designs, a new company based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, was founded in 2005. Karen Nieporte - founder, CEO, and mother of twin daughters who were born premature, weighing in at only 3.10 oz and with low immunity - designed the first product from Gab and Liv Designs and called it Cootie Cover.
