Friday, November 27, 2009. Day after Thanksgiving 2009. Up bright and early again.but this time, it wasn't because of the nieces and nephews. We all stayed up and watched a rather disturbing movie, The Mist. It kept me up all night. Every little noise I heard startled me. By the way, if you have not watched. This movie, don't bother.it's awful and has a terrible ending. Various pictures from today:. Bryce took Freeway for a walk down the street.he was so proud of himself. Bryce playing blocks with Jenga.

Thursday, February 11, 2010. Snow Day at School. Well, we took advantage of our planning time today to go outside and play in the snow. We had lots of fun.of course we didn't bring the kids outside because that would just get way too crazy! We are actually off tomorrow because of the weather and I'm not too happy because our make-up day will be the Saturday of our April Scrapbook Retreat in Weatherford. I am definitely NOT a happy camper! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Freeway, 12 years old.

http://ramblingrara.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 12, 2011. I know it has been a while since I have posted, but our life has been quite a roller coaster. Grant's dad's passing has been hard on us all, but we have been determined to be joyful inspite of our hurt. Here is a snapshot of our holidays. Good is so good! All of Grant's family was gathered together for the Grandkids' Christmas when we got the news that Barton was missing. Here is a picture of Bella with her new kitchen. Here is my wonderful family! I love you all!

Rambling RaRa: Baylor-Tech Game
http://ramblingrara.blogspot.com/2011/11/baylor-tech-game.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. So Ann took Grant, Melinda, her boyfriend Eric, and me to the Baylor-Tech game, Saturday. Imagine being a Tech fan, in between two Baylor alumni, on the Baylor side and that was me. It was brutal! Grant was very composed, but Ann was just down right giddy! I guess I don't blame her. It has been a long time since Baylor has had a winning season and they did play well. Here is a picture of our awesome seats. Thank you Ann! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mike's dad always uses his Christmas plates for Thanksgiving meals. The indians that were part of the centerpiece at the table. The Slater family. From left, Greg (Mike's younger brother), Mrs. and Mr. Slater, and of course, Mike. He has a hard time smiling! Mike and I stopped for a pose in front of some Christmas trees. This was sooo cool!

Thursday, March 20, 2014. Our First Cruise (aboard the Ruby Princess). After settling in and unpacking everything, we explored the rest of the ship. She was so beautiful. We had to return to our rooms at a certain time to perform our emergency drill. We had to meet in Muster D along with several 100 other passengers and practice putting on our life jackets. Our tour guide, Lilliana, taught us the difference between the Mayan Calendar and the Aztec calendar. She was really nice and funny! She said the day...

Rambling RaRa: Santa
http://ramblingrara.blogspot.com/2011/12/santa.html
Thursday, December 1, 2011. I took Bella to see Santa before Thanksgiving and as you can see from the photos she wasn't very keen on the idea. The only way she would go anywhere near him was if I was holding her. I was not planning on being in the photo. I love the progression! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Day 2 - Driving to Zion National Park.
