But this year Gabe will be here the whole time and I am only going to leave over new years so we will get to spend Christmas at home. Group Trip #1, Joshua Tree, California. January 27, 2014 – 7:41 pm. Luckily for us, we had two group trips planned with friends for the first 6 months of 2014! The first one took place about 1.5 weeks ago in Joshua Tree, California. 8 of us rented a house and staying right near Joshua Tree National Park.
