Thursday, May 13, 2010. April 17-18: When mom has something to do at night, Gabe calls it boys night. (When dad has something, it's boys-girls night.) Well, this weekend mom had to work, and dad took the boys on an awesome boys weekend to Washington, D.C. to celebrate Grammy's birthday! Mom was really sad to miss it, but *boy* did they have fun. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. The Paul Shanoff Centenial. This July, we went to Chicago to celebrate what would have been Grandpa's dad's 100th birthday. All the Shanoff Aunts and Uncles were there too, and it was a great visit. We started the trip with Gabe's first MLB game. One of dad's friends took us down on the field at Wrigley, and then, of course, there was the cotton candy. And no trip to Wrigley is complete without a picture in front of the sign! That lemon ice didn't hurt either.

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Suzki and Pops came to town this weekend, and boy did everyone have a great time. They went out with Gabe and Jonah for some awesome adventures. Sunday, December 20, 2009. Of course, we have mentioned. Dad and Gabe's big NYT debut. But here's a great picture of our fun (and VERY early) morning viewing of the actual print version before heading back to NYC! Friday, June 25, 2010. May 7-9: This weekend we headed to Philly to celebrate the wedding of mom's cousin Jane to Arie. It was a great weekend, with all our Miller aunts, uncles and cousins in town. We had so much fun: we walked the city and got to see the original LOVE sculpture (one of our faves! Climb the Rocky steps. Then we celebrated Gabe's upcoming birthday with almost the whole gang! Friday, June 25, 2010. May 16: this weekend we celebrated Gabe's actual 4th birthday, and what a weekend it was. The celebrations started at Gabe's school, where the class had a little party and dad read one of Gabe's favorite books, Flat Stanley. The next morning, Grammy came to visit, and we loved having her here to celebrate! Mom really liked having Gabe help make some super-cool cupcakes for the big par-tay. Sunday, we had a fab birthday party at the brand new Pier One! My, how time flies.

Friday, June 25, 2010. May 1: May really did get off to a nice start, so we took the opportunity to head out to Coney Island to visit the walruses, sharks, and other Coney Island crazies. We rode the carousel and Jonah had his first Nathan's hot dog. He liked it so much he ate most of mom's too. Don't worry - Gabe had some delicious ice cream, so he didn't go hungry.
