It's been one full year since I was declared free of the cancer that inhabited my body for those few months in 2007 and the physical healing began after the hysterectomy. We had some really great discussion about raising our kids to know what God's word says about handling money and possessions and then the next week on investing, especially in heavenly treasure! God's really been working on Gabriel and I in the area of disciplining our children, allowing them to feel the weight of the consequences of their actions (without feeling the responsibility to save them/or guilt either). I've found that I seem to run in to tons of people who are currently struggling with money issues- being overdrawn, being deep in debt, wanting to give but not having the funds, unable to afford groceries or their mortgage/rent/electricity bill and more. We all have money, or need money or want more of it regardless of how much we have. We can't live in this society without money- it's just not possible. That makes the difference.
