Fall is truly here in New York City, As I am juggling pre-production for SYNAMO (read my blog on the film page of my site) and several other projects, I am packing my bags to direct two Music Videos for the great singer Izaline Callister. Gabri Christa’s work lives where dance, theater and film merges, and the Caribbean, Europe and the Americas converses. Born and raised in Curaçao, the Dutch Caribbean, she came to New York, via the Netherlands, Cuba and Puerto Rico. She has been guest choreographer at Princeton University, University of Utah, Middle School for the Arts in West Palm Beach, Staten Island Ballet and other places. She is a board member of Dance Theater Workshop and is an advisory board member for Dance/NYC.
