Today I took Gabe for his xray to monitor his diaphragm patch and then we waited to get the cd so we could take it along to his appointment with Dr. Rouse. The news really couldn't be any better. When Dr. Rouse walked into the room, he asked the routine question - how was Gabe? I replied "He's doing great, in fact we haven't used his feeding tube since February 19th". Last night I was reading through some materials for the Children's Liturgy today and the topic is "God always hears and answers our prayers" - and it was just what I needed - "funny" how that happens sometimes, dontcha think? There was a quote in the preparation materials that I have heard before and am certainly familiar with, but it was different to be looking through this information with the intent to discuss it with others - in this case 3-5 year olds!
