Riding for the Disabled. Gaddesden Place RDA Centre was formed in 1974 by Trina Hall and grew rapidly to become one of the first full time centres in the region. HRH Princess Anne at the opening. Trina with a visually impaired rider. Thanks to the support of the Halsey family who own the Gaddesden Estate and tireless fundraising, we were able to build the indoor school and later the viewing area. Riding for the Disabled. All of our ponies are very special animals who enable us to do our wonderful work. Tonto is a coloured cob and has the most wonderful long mane which the volunteers love to plait. He really enjoys playing in the field with his best friend Stanley.
